Hi friends, just a quick note to say that we hope that each one of you had a very good Thanksgiving. I am currently writing from Carl’s parents home where the boys and I helped them celebrate the holiday. Dikchhya is here with us, having come home for a few days from PCA to take a break and eat some turkey too. Carl has made it safely to Germany where he is currently working to help us pay the bills. We continue to rest in God’s grace that seems to get us through each and every holiday as he reminds us of everything that he has done for our family. As I write, Dikchhya and I have made countless calls in trying to call Nepal so that she can speak with her parents who remain high up in the hills of Jomsom and Lhakpa eagerly awaits hearing about her pending acceptance to PCC. There is currently no mission news update due to the holidays and the fact that we are currently working to pay for our personal expenses. We also have been sad to watch the horrific situation that has taken place in India as of late. Most assuredly, the world is a scary place filled with ample opportunities for the enemy to strike. On one last note, our son is due to have surgery on Thursday and we are anxiously looking forward to that. Unfortunately, it seems as if he is trying to work on a cold and a cough, which sometimes makes surgery a “no-go.” We shall see what comes in the future… whatever God wills. Still, we will pray for a quick recovery so that we can proceed with the surgery prior to Christmas. Thanks always for your continued prayers.
