This is often true in our lives. We need help, we cry out to God, and becaus we see no immediate response, we think God is too busy, we think He didn’t hear us, or He doesn’t care. This leads us to think we have to take care of things ourselves. However, God is pleased when we ask for help. He hears an earnest plea. Often, that is all it takes for Him to move on our behalf. But once we ask, we need to wait on Him. We need to trust God even if we do not see any evidence of help.
